JUNIOR LEAGUE OF AUSTIN
I’ve been an active member of JLA of Austin for almost a decade, working alongside dedicated volunteers to support a variety of nonprofits in the Austin area. Multiple years in leadership roles helping to facilitate our annual fundraiser A Christmas Affair and leading a Provisional team to success. I have also appreciated serving with the Ronald McDonald House, the Ride on Center for Kids, the Fit Closet-Food in Tummies program, and many more.
SCHOOL SUPPORT
I served as president on multiple levels, both campus and district-wide, and have been actively involved in board obligations for 9 years in many positions, working to support the needs of our children and their education. I have served to collaborate with other schools to advocate for educational resources and community support for students and families.
I have always believed that being an active member of the community is essential to making a positive impact, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles and volunteering for many local organizations.
Here are just a few of the ways I’ve been involved in making Cedar Park and the surrounding areas a better place for families:
CHI BETA DELTA
While attending Texas State University I was a member of Chi Beta Delta. A community service sorority that prides itself on giving back to our community. I received the “Most Outstanding Pledge” award for my dedication to community service and support for local causes while attending.
THE JEREMIAH PROGRAM
I have worked with The Jeremiah Program for over two years. We support single moms with complete wrap-around services while they obtain a college degree and remap the journey to their and their child's future. JP Austin campus is a 35-unit housing campus for single moms and includes an onsite Child Development Center with the capacity to serve up to 60 children. I support program growth, family services, and recruitment at the Jeremiah Program Austin campus.
